It’s no secret that Photoshop enforces the terribly high beauty standards for women.
Elizabeth Moss, founder and head retoucher of Rare Digital Art created three 90-second time-lapse videos exposing the before and after results of Photoshopped beauty campaigns.
“These videos are unique because none of the high end retouchers make these type of videos,” Moss told PetaPixel.
The result? The videos show the editors erasing blemishes, which is standard. But then they move on to widening of eyes and the chiseling of cheekbones. Is this what the ideals of beauty is supposed to look like?
