Pitbull has gone from Mr. 305 to Mr. Worldwide. Now, he’s Mr. Television Host.
This morning, Dick Clark Productions announced that the 33-year-old Cuban rapper will be hosting the 2014 American Music Awards for the second year in a row.
“World, who would have thought Pitbull [would be] hosting the AMAs two years in a row,” Pitbull said in a statement. “The harder I work, the luckier I get. Thank you ABC and Dick Clark Productions for the amazing opportunity — more than anything let’s get ready to have fun. Dale!”
“Pitbull is a global superstar and multi-talented powerhouse, who delivered one of the most exciting shows in American Music Awards history when he hosted in 2013. This year will be no different,” said American Music Awards producer Larry Klein in a press release.
“We’re working together to create elements of the show that will wow audiences and take the night to a whole new level.”
The 2014 American Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday, November 23 at 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC!
