In the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks last Friday, Justin Bieber paid a heartfelt tribute to a friend he lost in the massacre.
“Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy,” Bieber wrote on Monday. “He was part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him. Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends.”

Ayad was named as one of 89 individuals killed in a mass shooting at the Eagles of Death Metal concert on Friday, the same day that Bieber released his new album, Purpose.
While Bieber chose to continue on with his own album launch show at Staples Center in L.A., he broke down in tears on-stage.
“Through all the pain and all the darkness, God, you still shine your light, God,” he said in a prayer during the show.
