In her newly released music video for “The Heart Wants What it Wants,” Selena Gomez will bring you back to your biggest break up.
In the black and white music video, the 22-year-old singer tells the emotional and tearful story of a painful heartbreak. Although she doesn’t mention his name, many are assuming the song is about her famed ex-beau, Justin Bieber.
“When I was on stage and I was thinking of…” she says in a voice over at the start of the video. “I felt like I know him though, and I know that I know his heart, and I know what he wouldn’t do anything to hurt me. But I didn’t realize that feeling so confident and feeling so great about myself…and then it just be completely shattered by one thing.”
She then begins to cry as she continues, “By something so stupid. But then you make me feel crazy, you make me feel like it’s my fault. I was in pain.”
