New Latino Emoji App Will Make Your Texting Dreams Come True

Let’s be honest: Emojis are a pretty big way of expressing ourselves in every day text conversation, but the current offerings are woefully lacking in Latino- and Hispanic-specific emojis. Sure, the burritos and taco we’re welcomed additions, but what about the café con leche and mojito emojis?

Currently, the app only includes emoji from six different countries: Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. However, a spokesperson from Zubi told Ad Age that the brand is considering adding emojis from the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Uruguay to the app as well. The good news is that if you don’t see your home country represented, you can email the creators of the app and let them know!
