Venezuelan-born designer Carolina Herrera made waves on the runway as she presented her Fall/Winter 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday.
Romantic and elegant styles with a rippling water effect looked ethereal as they glided down the runway.
“The collection is based on anything that has to do with water. Like the rain, ocean waves, the lake, the rivers,” Herrera told Reuters.
Known for her classic and regal aesthetic, the designer experimented with sleek, modern silhouettes in blue, white, grey, and a splash of red for good measure. She managed to effortlessly fused classic and modern elements, which spoke volumes for the legendary designer.
