How to Make Your Lipstick Last All Day Long

Keeping your lipstick on all day is a challenge for a lot of us. While there are long-wear lipsticks available in the market, here’s an easy trick to ensure your lipstick lasts.

What you’ll need:

Lipstick
Similar or matching liner
Lipstick brush
Tissue
Translucent powder

Step 1:

Moisturize your lips with lip balm and let it sink in for a minimum of five minutes. For faster application, blot off the excess lip balm with tissue.

Step 2:

Define the natural shape of your lip with lip liner. Pro tip: Start by making an x at the Cupid’s bow.

Fill in your entire upper and bottom lip with liner. Lip liner is drier than lipstick and will adhere to your lips, which will help the color stick on, even if your creamy lipstick formula wears off.

Step 4:

Use a lip brush to apply lipstick. You can also just apply straight from the tube, but using a brush allows for more precision and will give you more control. Start in the center, and work your way out toward the edges.
